XWX-WORLDUNDERGROUND WORLD

GAMEPLAY AND RULES

Build a home
beneath a dangerous world.

After a zombie apocalypse, humanity has moved underground. Manage a shelter: keep your residents fed and powered, mine metal, build rooms and fortify the entrance.

Return to the game

Your first steps

  1. Sign in and open the gates. You can restart the guide with the Tutorial button.
  2. Select a production room and assign available residents. An unstaffed room produces no resources.
  3. Watch your food and energy. Production slows if either supply runs out.
  4. Save metal, upgrade your rooms and build an elevator to the next floor.

What each room does

Hydroponics

Produces food. Residents consume food continuously; recruiting a resident costs 35 food.

Power station

Generates energy. Residents, construction and upgrades consume it.

Mine

Produces metal for rooms, elevators and surface fortifications.

Workshop

Increases storage capacity. Assigned workers contribute to the basis of your XW reward.

Living quarters

Provides beds. Your shelter currently supports up to 100 residents, subject to available beds.

Kitchen and lounge

Kitchen upgrades reduce food consumption. Lounge upgrades increase production.

Production depends on staffing, room levels and available supplies. Once storage is full, the corresponding resource stops accumulating. Storage always holds at least the full cost of the next new room. Workshops provide additional capacity. The 100 game XW limit applies to daily rewards, not the total balance: coins can accumulate across multiple days.

Build and upgrade

Rooms have four levels, each with a different appearance. Upgrade costs appear in the selected room's panel. Build new rooms on available plots; only one construction project can run at a time. A new room costs 240 metal plus 80 for each previously built room, and 40 energy.

The New floor button starts elevator construction. Each new underground floor provides three plots; additional lower floors can be unlocked without a gameplay limit. Four lower floors are unlocked from the start; unlock the others by building the elevator. Navigate with buttons, the slider, the mouse wheel or touch scrolling over the shelter.

Select the mound above the entrance to upgrade surface fortifications. Level four is a concrete bunker with antennas and turrets. Turrets are currently decorative; attacks are not enabled yet.

Surface level two requires one power station, workshop, hydroponics room and mine, plus 20 residents. Level three requires two of each and 40 residents; level four requires three of each and 70 residents. Only completed rooms and actual residents count, not spare beds. The displayed metal and energy cost is charged in addition. Previously earned levels are retained.

Shelters on the map

The World map button is beside the game controls. Shelters are loaded from the database, using player display names as bunker labels. Your bunker is highlighted in gold.

Select a neighbour to see their fortification level and distance. Positions stay fixed, but distances are fictional: this is a game world, not a map of real addresses or cities. Pan and zoom to explore; Refresh retrieves updated data.

Expeditions, combat, shelter capture, alliances and resource exchanges are planned features. In this version, the map is for viewing neighbours.

How XW rewards work

An account receives a one-time welcome gift of 50 XW when daily reward tracking is first enabled. This gift is separate from daily earnings.

On the free plan, the daily reward is up to 100 XW, based on production and completed quests. The available ceiling increases with active time, reaching 100 XW after six cumulative hours within the day. Six hours alone do not guarantee the maximum reward.

A day runs from midnight to midnight in the time zone attached to the account when tracking begins. The reward is credited after the day ends, the next time the game contacts the server. Changing the device time zone does not change the account's established daily boundary.

View your progress and calculation in Rewards. Pausing, closing or hiding the page does not continuously count as active time. Game speed affects production, but does not double participation time.

Monthly plans

Free — up to 100 game XW per day. For 10,000 rubles per month — up to 200 game XW per day. For 20,000 rubles per month — up to 300 game XW per day. These are reward ceilings, not guaranteed earnings: activity and production requirements apply.

The higher limit lasts one month from confirmed payment. The free limit resumes afterward; accumulated balances are retained. Payments are confirmed manually by the administrator. Create an order in the game shop, follow the payment instructions, and wait for confirmation before the plan activates.

Resource packs and armored base

Each pack contains the same amount of food, energy and metal: 900 each for 2,000 RUB; 1,800 each for 4,000 RUB; 3,600 each for 6,000 RUB; 7,200 each for 8,000 RUB; Super, 20,000 each for 10,000 RUB. Purchased resources are credited above storage capacity and consumed normally. Production resumes accumulation once stocks fall below capacity.

A level-four armored base costs 10,000 RUB. After confirmed payment, it unlocks immediately without normal upgrade prerequisites. Rooms, residents and resources are retained. Turrets are decorative; attacks are not connected yet. Create an order in the game shop. The administrator verifies the payment and confirms delivery.

XW in this game is an in-game currency, not US dollars. For future exchange, the project sets this ratio: 100 game XW = 1 real XW. This is a ratio between game and real XW, not a promised dollar exchange rate. Exchange of game XW accumulated over a month is planned through an exchange service. Exchange and withdrawals are not connected yet; terms and a launch date will be published separately.

Settings and saving

Switch between Russian and English manually. Your first visit chooses a language automatically; a manual selection is remembered. Surface lighting follows the device's local time: dawn from 06:00 to 08:00 and dusk from 18:00 to 20:00.

On the website, progress is saved to your account on the server. To install an update, replace the game files and refresh the page. Press Ctrl+F5 if you still see an older version. Start over resets buildings and resources while preserving the server XW balance and daily reward tracking.

100 residents: expedition preparation

The shelter has a total limit of 100 people, including workers, soldiers and diplomats. Housing provides at most 100 beds. The final housing block adds only the remaining places; further housing construction and upgrades are then disabled. Previously built rooms are retained.

Reaching 100 residents unlocks three new rooms for the current settlement. More floors and non-residential rooms can be built beyond the former 15-floor limit.

Armory

Assign an available resident and select Craft equipment. One kit costs 20 metal and 10 energy, taking 60 base seconds with one level-one worker with average attributes. More workers and higher room levels speed up production. An order pauses when no workers are assigned.

Barracks

The + button starts training an available resident. Training consumes one equipment kit and 10 food, requiring 60 base seconds at level one. Barracks hold up to 100 soldiers, but soldiers count toward the same total population of 100.

Diplomatic corps

The + button starts diplomatic training for an available resident, costing 10 food and 5 energy. Training requires 60 base seconds at level one. Each room level provides 10 specialist positions.

Room upgrades speed up training. Food or energy shortages slow training and production. Auto mode includes soldiers and diplomats. In manual mode, return a specialist to civilian work in the resident list. Qualifications are retained, so the same training does not cost resources again. Residents travel to new rooms using the elevator. Equipment and training are saved. Sending parties, negotiations and bunker capture are planned for a later stage and are not available yet.

Resident attributes and assignment

Every resident has five persistent attributes: strength, intellect, precision, diplomacy and endurance. They affect production and training speed. Strength helps miners; intellect and precision help armorers; diplomacy helps diplomats. Assign cooks to the kitchen to produce extra food.

Click a person or their name to inspect their attributes and job. The game pauses until the card closes. Manual mode lets you choose workers. Auto mode reassigns all residents every 10 game seconds by aptitude and available positions, prioritizing food and energy. Training already in progress finishes uninterrupted; first-time training uses game resources. Start equipment crafting separately. Mode and attributes are saved.
