ABOUT THE GAME
After a zombie apocalypse, humanity has moved underground. Manage a shelter: keep your residents fed and powered, mine metal, build rooms and fortify the entrance.
Return to the gameX-WORLD is a game about growing an underground shelter. Above lies a dangerous world; below live people who need food, energy, work and a place to stay. Every room upgrade changes its appearance and helps your community progress.
Assign residents, produce resources and open new floors.
Turn an overgrown entrance into a level-four concrete bunker.
Open the world map, find neighbouring shelters and check their distance.
Planned additions include supply expeditions, zombie attacks, turret defence, treaties and exchanges between shelters. These are future plans, not currently available features.
Today's game includes construction, upgrades, resident assignments, daily XW rewards, day and night, and a neighbour overview on a fictional map.
Gameplay and rulesThe shelter has a total limit of 100 people, including workers, soldiers and diplomats. Housing provides at most 100 beds. The final housing block adds only the remaining places; further housing construction and upgrades are then disabled. Previously built rooms are retained.
Reaching 100 residents unlocks three new rooms for the current settlement. More floors and non-residential rooms can be built beyond the former 15-floor limit.
Assign an available resident and select Craft equipment. One kit costs 20 metal and 10 energy, taking 60 seconds with one level-one worker. More workers and higher room levels speed up production. An order pauses when no workers are assigned.
The + button starts training an available resident. Training consumes one equipment kit and 10 food, taking 60 seconds at level one. Barracks hold up to 100 soldiers, but soldiers count toward the same total population of 100.
The + button starts diplomatic training for an available resident, costing 10 food and 5 energy. Training takes 60 seconds at level one. Each room level provides 10 specialist positions.
Room upgrades speed up training. Food or energy shortages slow training and production. Soldiers and diplomats are not automatically reassigned to normal work: return a specialist to civilian work in the resident list. Retraining costs resources again. Residents travel to new rooms using the elevator. Equipment and training are saved. Peaceful first-contact missions are available from the world map. Military expeditions, treaties and bunker capture are not available.
Open the world map, select another located X-city and choose a trained diplomat. One envoy can travel at a time. A mission costs 20 food, takes one minute per 10 km each way (minimum 1, maximum 60 minutes), plus a one-minute visit. Travel continues offline and ignores game speed. Arrival adds the city to your own contacts; return releases the diplomat. The envoy cannot work or train while away. No trade, treaty or change to the other player’s shelter occurs. Network missions require the game server and player database; they are unavailable in the local prototype.
Select a city on the map to see its online status, view its shelter live in read-only mode, or select Talk to open private chat. Closing the viewer returns to the same map. Diplomacy opens the map to choose a target.
The Communication panel is above quests: alliance chat on the left, private chat on the right. Create a named alliance or join one from the list without approval. Each city can belong to one alliance; the limit is 20 cities including the creator.
Send text, emojis or voice recordings up to 45 seconds. Preview, send or discard recordings; edit or delete your own text and delete your own voice messages. Messages remain available when a recipient returns online. Offline mode stops new messages and presence renewal while the game continues.
Send food, energy, metal or existing weapons directly to one ally, even offline, without fees or losses. Received resources can exceed storage capacity. Transfer history appears below the form.
Monthly plans
Free — up to 100 game XW per day. For 6 USD per month — up to 200 game XW per day. For 12 USD per month — up to 300 game XW per day. These are reward ceilings, not guaranteed earnings: activity and production requirements apply.
The higher limit lasts one month from confirmed payment. The free limit resumes afterward; accumulated balances are retained. Payments are confirmed manually by the administrator. Create an order in the game shop, follow the payment instructions, and wait for confirmation before the plan activates.
Resource packs and armored base
Each pack contains the same amount of food, energy and metal: Resource pack 1: 900 each for 1 USD; Resource pack 2: 1,800 each for 2 USD; Resource pack 3: 3,600 each for 4 USD; Resource pack 4: 7,200 each for 5 USD; Super pack 5: 20,000 each for 6 USD. Purchased resources are credited above storage capacity and consumed normally. Production resumes accumulation once stocks fall below capacity.
A level-four armored base costs 12 USD. After confirmed payment, it unlocks immediately without normal upgrade prerequisites. Rooms, residents and resources are retained. Turrets are decorative; attacks are not connected yet. Create an order in the game shop. The administrator verifies the payment and confirms delivery.
XW in this game is an in-game currency, not US dollars. For future exchange, the project sets this ratio: 100 game XW = 1 real XW. This is a ratio between game and real XW, not a promised dollar exchange rate. Exchange of game XW accumulated over a month is planned through an exchange service. Exchange and withdrawals are not connected yet; terms and a launch date will be published separately.
PART OF THE X-WORLD PROJECT
Social mining
Underground World is part of the broader X-WORLD project. The game uses social mining: participation in shelter life, production and completed quests contribute to a player's reward.
On the free plan, you can earn up to 100 XW coins per day. The amount depends on meeting the game conditions and active time. Access to the daily maximum requires six cumulative hours of participation within the day. Time spent in the game alone does not automatically grant the maximum reward.
